Saint Piran launches a Women's Team
Saint Piran is very excited to be launching a Women’s race team for the 2021 season. We are passionate about supporting all groups of cyclists and feel that, as the Saint Piran name is becoming increasingly well known, there’s a real opportunity to offer a platform for aspiring females within the race scene.
2021 will see an initial line up of six women with the goal of taking part – and being competitive - in high level races such as the Tour Series and the National Road series, as well as international races.
We want to offer a platform for women to develop, learn, experience and enjoy the sport of cycling. The opportunity to train and race with likeminded teammates is a key part of our sport and is something we are very keen to promote.
We are currently building the team and would encourage any women who are keen to race at this level to contact Team Manager, Jenny Bolsom.
We aim to work with the sponsors who currently partner the Elite men’s team. These bonds have been built over the years and our sponsors are synonymous with the Saint Piran brand. We would love to hear from any other businesses interested in partnering with us for the 2021 season to support the Women’s Team.
Alongside the women’s race team, we have a secondary team for men and women who enjoy racing for fun. This is open to all abilities and ages and again, we encourage interested riders to get in touch.
We can’t wait to get back to racing and we’re all looking forward to seeing what next year brings.
