Road to net zero

on the 1st September 2022, we launched our road to net zero campaign

We have issued a rallying call to the cycling community as we launch our journey to become one of the first pro cycling teams in the world to become net zero.

We are committing to a social impact plan that puts communities and the environment at the heart of its future - regardless of our racing success.

At a time when professional cycling is under immense pressure to reduce its impact on the environment, we have decided to share our entire journey online with the cycling community for others to learn from.

Richard Pascoe, owner of the Saint Piran group, recognises the challenge, saying: “There is some incredible work being done in cycling to improve lives and the environment, but there is a gap in learning. In our short journey to date, we have already faced challenges like sourcing hybrid vehicles for the upcoming Tour of Britain. So it is essential we are open about our journey because money and resource are limited, and costs are spiralling - we have to work smarter. We will be transparent about what we do and how we do it because if we don’t, how will we learn?”
