Women’s 05-03

With Saint Piran Women’s Racing Team refocusing its ambitions, we feel it’s vital to keep the door open for all abilities. We can now share the news of our new addition ‘05-03’. This was initially introduced as a men’s development team in 2022 and we are now adding a women’s structure to it.

05-03 is a team that focuses on developing its riders and providing a pathway to the highest levels of competitive cycling. The team is named in honour of Cornwall’s patron saint, with Saint Piran’s Day falling on 5th March (05-03), and is a direct feeder to our Women’s Elite team. 05-03 is committed to developing and transforming British talent, with a particular focus on Cornish athletes. The aim is to inspire the next generation of riders, taking them from raw talent to higher levels of the sport. With the new direction of the Saint Piran Women’s Road Team, there is a need to bridge the gap between developing riders and a national/international roster. 05-03 will act as a stepping stone for both locally and nationally based riders to develop and learn the skills and race craft required to compete at the top level.
