The Pro Race Team
The Saint Piran Continental team were unique in professional cycling in that there were no sponsor logos or advertising on the jersey.
The black background and distinctive white lettering mirrors the style of the Cornish flag, and the right sleeve is adorned with Cornish tartan, each colour bearing its own significance or meaning: black and gold represent the colours of the ancient Kings of Dumnonia, red represents the legs and beak of the Cornish chough, and blue represents the colour of the sea surrounding Cornwall. We are very grateful to Matt Hocking CEO at Leap in Cornwall whose company provided design and origination on the Cornish tartan.
But That was then, and this is now.
In the years before, during, and now after the Pro Team, the Saint Piran cycling family have seen a number of development teams rise, prosper and ultimately change or expand. Each one came with its linked, but individual jersey. in early 2026 the 0503 team rebranded into the Saint Piran Service Course team and changed from red back into the iconic black, with a few tweaks. In July 2026 the distinctive black kit went through the biggest change to date and turned all white. As well as kit for the Saint Piran teams, we’ve also created promotional jerseys for some of our commercial partners like Healeys Rattler or St Austell Brewery’s Tribute, team kit for other entities like the RAF Triathlon team, kit for our roadside supporters like the Beefeater Bend lads and a wide range of Cornwall inspired jerseys to ride in outside of competition, some with extensive design back stories.

Inspired by the awe-inspiring beauty of Cornwall’s golden sand beaches at sunset, the HOWL collection—named after the Cornish word for ‘sun’—captures the magic of the fading light and the bold silhouettes of the rocks.
