Saint Piran Pro Cycling have signed James Mckay, leader of the National Road Rankings to its men’s UCI Continental Team from cycling sheffield.

James (26), leader of the National Road Rankings has signed to Saint Piran Pro Cycling for the remainder of the 2023 season bringing competition to a roster that already boasts World Champion Will Tidball, GB Olympic hopefuls Charlie Tanfield, Will Roberts and UK Under 23 Time Trial Champion Josh Charlton. 

Team Owner Richard Pascoe said: “Providing opportunities for aspiring riders in the U.K. cycling scene is crucial to our sport’s development. When a young rider needs those UCI races it's a delight for us to offer that to James. I absolutely love and admire what Cycling Sheffield do, they are so important to rider development. It’s a compliment to their hard work and excellence that James is riding at a UCI level.

The first race in the black jersey for James will be at Bordes Izegem Koers on the 7th of September 2023.
