Tyler Hannay joins Saint Piran for 2023

Saint Piran Pro Cycling announce their second mid-season signing to their men’s UCI Continental Cycling Team. Tyler Hannay (19) joins Saint Piran from the Italian club team Mastromarco Sensi Nibali. 

A Commonwealth Games Athlete, Tyler, joins Saint Piran to strengthen Saint Piran as they enter the latter part of the season.  Recognising Tyler's climbing abilities, Men's Sports Director Steve Lampier is enthusiastic about the impact he will have in strengthening the squad,

“With Tyler's natural climbing abilities, his presence will strengthen our squad in the hard hilly races in the remainder of the season. I’ve kept a close eye on Tyler's progress over the last few years, his continued improvement and his strong performance in France over the last 2 seasons - now means he is a good fit for the team's ambitions and goals.”

Tyler Hannay said “I am honoured and very grateful for the opportunity to join Saint Piran for the rest of 2023. It looks from the outside like a great team with a key emphasis on development and I can’t wait to get stuck into a great calendar and learn as much as I can from everyone on the team”

The first race in the black jersey for Tyler will be at the Lancaster GP (Sunday 16th July 2023).
