Saint Piran Head to Estonia

Both the Mens and Women’s teams are heading to Estonia for the Tour of Estonia and the first ever edition of the Ladies Tour of Estonia.

Tour of Estonia is a part of the Estonian Cycling Weekend and belongs to the UCI calendar of tours. It is an introduction to the beautiful Estonian nature and sights through cycling.
For the mens team, the tour in 2022 consists of 3 stages.

Thursday 26th May - 3.7km Prologue Individual Time Trial in Tallinn Song Festival Grounds
Traditionally, a "prologue" is a very short time trial meant to establish some time gaps, get someone into the leaders jersey, and showcase the riders who are racing.

Friday 27th May - Stage 1 - Tallinn - Tartu - 192,6 km

Saturday 28th May - Stage 2 - Tartu Grand Prix, 164,8 km (16 laps of a 10,3 km circuit)

On Saturday 28th May the women race team will also be racing in the first ever edition of the Ladies Tour of Estonia which consists of a single stage with a total distance of 104.2 km.

Ladies Tour of Estonia is a women pro cyclists UCI 1.2 category race. Race introduces beautiful University city Tartu and visits several iconic places.

Carl Farrar, Assistant DS for the Women’s Team said “We are really honoured and exited to be given the opportunity to take part in the very first Ladies Tour of Estonia. This will be the first UCI race of the season for the women’s team and will be a great opportunity their development”
