Jack Rootkin-Gray finishing an outstanding 4th in the U23 World Road Race - A note from Team Owner Richard Pascoe.
“366 days ago we signed Jack Rootkin-Gray a young boy struggling within the sport.
No contract.
Potentially out of the sport.
Not smiling.
Fast forward to today…
The eyes of the world watched a stellar performance from the young man finishing 4th in his first World Championships. Jack has conducted himself in such a professional manner all year. When we first met he was questioning his future in the sport. He was released from the GB Academy and not enjoying cycling. We promised a relaxed atmosphere along with a development race program under our watchful eye as a team. Putting smiles on riders' faces is what the culture of Saint Piran stands for. We always talk about who’s buying the coffee - a responsibility of mine if the team wins. Adding to the mix of professional management and the backing of all our partners, fans and followers and of course Dad jokes from myself.
We are already looking forward to the National Series Races in Great Britain and of course, the Tour of Britain in Septemeber to showcase further what Saint Piran is doing as a collective. The success of the team depends on you. You can get behind the team and support the team through our number of initiatives: The most popular is adopt a rider. Head to our website to find your favourite rider and support the team” - Team Owner Richard Pascoe
