RIDING STYLE: Road Crit
Having dabbled in most sports, specifically Premiership cricket, I had always felt like my body could be pushed further. That’s when, around a year ago I sat on a road bike and from there I was gripped. Mainly by the progression and statistics.
Admittedly at the beginning being bested by somebody double my age was a wide eye opener, that’s where i knew it was the sport for me.
Over the course of 2025 I began pushing myself harder and harder, focusing on all aspects of progression from equipment upgrades to diet, in which at the end of the race season I began dabbling in learning movements in pelotons, tactics and the formats that’d work for me within cycling.
Maintaining my bike fitness through winter has been an experience in itself alongside work, but having spent 10days on a training camp in the Sierra Nevada and now ramping myself into next season with the help of structured coaching and advice. I look forward to breaking into the UK race scene come 2026 and displaying what I’m capable of.
