st michaels resort

We are pleased to be partnering with St Michaels Resort for the 2023 season – as a team, we are delighted to showcase local businesses on a world-class stage whilst remaining loyal to our Cornish heritage.

Team Owner Richard Pascoe “As our currency in international cycling increases it has shone the spotlight on our region. This become apparent in the Tour of Britain last year when a leading Ineos rider, Richie Porte, asked about recommendations for a quality hotel based in Cornwall. Without hesitation, I rang St Michaels to showcase a quality experience that a world-class professional could experience in Cornwall. Not only is the marketing department professional and gracious but Richie reported back that he enjoyed his stay and the recommendation thoroughly. This experience lead to a natural conversation with Tim Frier and as a result, we are delighted to say we are partnering with St Michaels in 2023”.

Recently our Women’s mountain bike team undertook their pre-season training camp there.

Team Manager and Mountain Bike Team Member Jenny Bolsom  “ The team were treated to a stunning apartment at the St Michael’s Resort, Falmouth. The penthouse views stretched from Gylly beach right across the bay to Pendennis point, perfect for lunch on the balcony or just relaxing after training! St Michael’s Resort boasts a luxurious spa as well as leisure facilities and pool. Our weekend was jam-packed, meaning a visit to the spa wasn’t possible but we did make use of the pool following our social ride which was a great pre-race treat! We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all at St Michael’s Resort, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, the food and drink were delicious and we were very well looked after!
