Application process to be followed for potential riders for Saint Piran
To ensure fairness, equality and transparency in relation to riders applying to join the Saint Piran Continental or USKIS Development Team, the following five-step process will be used. There will be no exceptions. Potential riders need to be aware of the process before submitting their application.
1. Potential Riders to provide a CV together with a covering letter to the Senior Management Team Director:

CV to include (where relevant and if not relevant insert N/A):
• Name
• Address
• Telephone
• Age
• Date of Birth
• Instagram account URL
• Strava account URL
• Twitter account URL
• Facebook profile URL
• Weight
• Resting heart rate
• Maximum heart rate
• Perceived strengths
• Previous teams
• Country race licence held
• UCI number
• Category
• Road ranking
• Track ranking
• Top 3 results
• Upcoming races
• Coach and their contact details
• Road and Track results for previous and current year
• Power Curve data from 1 second up to 5 hours (please share URL links to your Power Files / Training Peaks / Strava pages/ content)
2. Due diligence checks will then be completed by the Senior Management Team Director including:
• Pro cycling statistics
• Ranking points
• Social media presence
3. A Performance Test Review for those applying for the UCI Continental Men’s Team or USKIS Saint Piran Development Team will then be completed based on the data provided by the rider. There will a small cost to the rider at the time of application. (Contact John Trott at john.trott@saintpiran.co.uk for details). On completion, riders will be provided with full details of the Performance Test Review; this includes strengths and weaknesses which they can utilise for ongoing training and coaching.
Riders applying to join our 05-03 team do not need to follow this process. The 05/03 team is funded by a membership subscription which can be purchased on our service course website by following the below link and exploring the packages available: Join 05-03
4. The Saint Piran Pro Cycling Senior Management Team will then make decisions as to whether riders will be considered for the:
Saint Piran Continental Team
USKIS Saint Piran Development Team
5. If necessary an interview of the rider by the Senior Management Team will follow.
6. Once complete, the rider will receive written feedback, including a copy of their Performance Test Review results.
