John Trott joins Saint Piran as Senior Management Team Director
As Saint Piran enter a new five-year strategic plan around grassroots and elite cycling delivery across the domestic scene and throughout Europe we have expanded our management team.
“Expansion and success comes with its own problems. These challenges mean, we as an organisation need professional people to deliver on those ambitions. I am personally delighted that John joins us at this time. His wealth of experience both professionally and within the world of cycling is something that Saint Piran welcomes as we undertake that five-year strategic plan.
John’s well-documented background including 28 years in the police service, as a CEO of a national service and a lifetime of experience within the cycling world both as a rider and within management nationally and in France for the past 7 years, is exactly what Saint Piran requires at this time. John is a talented leader who is able to direct and motivate individuals to improve and achieve their goals and objectives. He has a wealth of experience working in partnership with statutory and voluntary organisations and a sound understanding of partnership priorities, competing agendas and organisational politics.” Ricci Pascoe.
John says, “I’m delighted to join the Saint Piran team at his exciting time and I’m really looking forward with working with the rest of the whole Saint Piran Team and assisting in enabling our strategic plan by using my considerable experience of partnering with operational and strategic leaders, assisting with delivering the Saint Piran Cycling CIC objectives of promoting cycling and sustainability, providing education and events, promoting women’s involvement in sport, unlocking individuals potential particularly focussing on promoting inclusivity, improving physical and mental health and creating long-term, sustainable solutions and projects that have a positive impact on individuals, communities, and the environment.”
