Evans, Holland and davies get their Saint Piran season under way

Sunday saw Saint Piran riders Joe Evans, Ross Holland and Conor Davies kicking off the season in the Evesham Vale Road Race.

The 100km race was held over four laps of a 22km course in Worcestershire. Here’s Joe’s race report:

“A solid enough start to the season for us. A strange race, with no real rhythm to the attacks as is common with the early season races. For myself and Conor, it was our first road race of the season so we were still finding our feet a little. A group of 12 went up the road, a move we unfortunately missed, and the win came from there. Myself and Ross finished up in the second group after attacking late into the race.”

“Although no massive result to speak of this week, there are a lot of positives to take from this race as everyone is looking in good condition and it won’t be long until the results start coming. It also felt great to debut our new kit this weekend as well - we’re definitely looking the best in the bunch! We go again.”
