I’ve been working closely with a selection of Saint Piran riders that are located in the North West. U have also had the pleasure of working with nearly 40 professional riders in the area from world tour riders, Continental riders to GB riders across all disciplines of cycling.
I’ve been helping riders by keeping their race/training bikes on the road by offering my services free of charge. I have had the pleasure in building custom bikes for some of the riders to emergency repairs in between racing. I took the decision to do this as part of my marketing strategy by assisting young riders who are on the pathway to becoming professional cyclists. In a previous life i was an international runner and I know too well that any financial or support goes a long way when you’re navigating your way through professional sport which has difficulties financially. I also have found it extremely rewarding when you see the riders winning world championships and on home soil in the Tour of Britain knowing you’ve played a very small part. During this time it's been great to see the Saint Piran team go from strength to strength across the men’s and ladies team with a pioneering approach to the UK and Continental scene.
