HOME TOWN: Linlithgow

RIDING STYLE: ALL-ROUNDER

BIO:

I went along to my local Cycling Club, West Lothian Clarion, with my sister at about 6 years old. Riding MTB and CX became my thing, with as much interest in exploring the hills and woods as the race track.

My interest in road racing grew as a teenager and I was lucky enough to join The Cycling Academy as an U19. Over the next 2 years my passion for road grew to where it is today.

Being a cross discipline rider has allowed me to ride and race across the UK and Europe, meeting lots of great people with very different views and attitudes. Whenever I want to mix up my training a bit, I can grab a bike with different rubber on it and head out in any direction I want.

Outside of cycling I spend my time studying Sports Science at University, playing around in the kitchen cooking for myself and others, or swinging a golf club up at the local driving range.

Maintaing a balanced life helps me to stay healthy both physically and mentally so I can chase my cycling dreams with a smile on my face.

NOTABLE CARRER MOMENTS

Riding in a Scottish Jersey for the first time as a Youth rider will always stay with me.

As a Junior Man my proudest moments came in Road, XCO and CX.

2023 British Road Race Champion

2022 Scottish XCO Champion

2022 Scottish Cyclocross Champion

2022 Scottish Hill Climb Champion

CYCLING ASPIRATIONS

As I join the U23 ranks I have alot to learn and want to spend the next couple seasons growing as a rider... physically, tactically and mentally. Along the way I want to win some big races both for myself and St Piran.

IMPACT OF SAINT PIRAN

The opportunity to join the Saint Piran U23 team is one I could not pass up. The knowledge, energy and achievements of the team are admired far and wide. I hope to contribute to that reputation in any way I can.
