Julian Winn Joins Saint Piran

Having a world-class staff is crucial for us as an organization. It shows an intent around process, progression, and performance. Julian has not only the credentials as a rider and a DS, but he also has the right temperament with the riders when in a team situation. He knows when to press on and other times to put an arm around a rider. As a former Great Britain rider, national champion, and a rider in a Grand Tour, riders listen to him, which is fundamental at a point of planning.

Moreover, Julian is all about on-the-road organic learning. Utilizing our road captains will be a major step forward in 2024, and I’m pleased he will be working with both the UCI and the under-23 team.
