Saint Piran Womens Race Team Announce new Kit for 2023.

We are excited to announce our 2023 Saint Piran WRT kit.

We are very proud to be going back to black but combining it with our renowned ‘blue’.

Why black? As a combined set up we are extremely proud of our Cornish roots and we are honoured to have the Cornish flag on our arm and the Cornish tartan on the sleeve and leg. It’s important to remember the journey these teams have been on and where they originate from. The Cornish flag is black and white, representing white flowing from the black rock, hence why the kit is black.

Why blue? Saint Piran WRT was introduced in 2021 with its bright blue kit. This colour was chosen again with Cornwall in mind. Our county is almost completely surrounded by the sea with almost 300 miles of coastline, giving endless stunning blue views! Add to this the infamous history surrounding mining in Cornwall and one of the stand-out colours from underground is that of copper - a beautiful bright blue.

Rider safety is absolutely vital and something that we felt had to be considered within our new kit design, all of our riders will be kitted out with key items of clothing in the reverse colour way to aid visibility whilst training.

We wanted a change for 2023 and we hope you agree that the combination of black and blue is something quite special. Bioracer have been fantastic in working with us to produce this kit and we are really excited to be working with such a forward-thinking company who are already trusted by so many well-known teams and individuals!
