Lampier slid into the initial 5 man break containing the Belgium champion. The move gained 1 minute over a fast moving peloton which included team mates Cameron Jeffers and Matt Langworthy. With 8 laps to go Lampier shook the tree and dragged two away form the 5, then 5 laps to go in the windiest section he left them, eeking out a 2 minute gap. Lampier set about soloing for his maiden victory on Belgium soil the hotbed of world cycling. Cameron topped off a solid Saint Piran day by finishing 5th and matt a few places behind in 14th

Lampier said after “this 7 day trip to Belgium where we raced 6 times has been equally tough as rewarding with my personal results of 2nd 4th 5th and cams fine 2nd and now topped off with a win”
