RIDING STYLE: Puncheur/Sprinter

BIO:

I got into cycling at the age of 12 after watching the 2016 Olympics and have been gripped by it ever since. In the six years I've been in the sport, I’ve been through many highs and lows, but they have all moulded me into the skilful, tactical and confident rider I am today. My favourite thing about cycling is the pure speed that is achievable on two wheels. I thrive in an aggressive race, whether that be on the road or track. Away from racing, I love learning about the mechanics behind an efficient race bike. I've developed some decent mechanic skills as a result and like to make sure everything is in order with my bike. Off the bike, I enjoy playing the guitar, baking and hanging out with friends. I’m looking to study sports psychology at university and am a big advocate for positive mental health and the impact this can have on results.

CYCLING ASPIRATIONS

Going into the U23 ranks, I’m looking to develop as a rider and learn from the more experienced riders and team staff around me. I’m looking forward to embracing new tactics and riding different races. Long-term, I want to turn my passion into my job and gradually make my way up to World Tour level. But in the lead up to that I hope to win some important races for both myself and the team.

IMPACT OF SAINT PIRAN

Joining Saint Piran WRT was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. Looking back at my cycling journey so far, I’ve lacked a real support structure around me, and I believe Saint Piran will more than cover this. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact this will have on my racing and ability to be the best rider I can be.
