BIO

I started riding in 2019. I came to cycling after pursuing gymnastics, when the local gymnasium closed unexpectedly. I started riding the local 19 km loop on my Dad’s old bike around Culburra Beach with a school friend and have not looked back. I did my first local race at Nowra Velo Club just before COVID set in which briefly stalled my progress on the bike. As soon as COVID restrictions were lifted I started training and racing again, managing to win the next local club race. From there I was hooked. I kept racing and training. My efforts were rewarded when I was invited to race in the Junior Tour of Ireland and UCI Nations Cup, Tour De DMZ in South Korea in 2022

Off the bike I enjoy studying a wide range of subject areas, from physiology to aeronautical engineering. I also spend a lot of time in the kitchen, creating nutritious food for myself, family and friends. I also spend time at the beach, either walking my dog or hanging out in the surf with mates. Being relatively new to the sport compared to most, I am still learning but find I love to be in breakaways or pushing/controlling the bunch for my teammates.

CYCLING ASPIRATIONS

Moving into my second year as an U23 I want to make more of a mark and build on what I learnt in my first year as an U23. Hopefully manifesting itself in more results over the 2024 season for both me and my teammates.

IMPACT OF SAINT PIRAN

The Saint Piran USKIS team presents both an opportunity and a challenge. I hope it will push me to get results both as an individual and for the team. I am excited to be coming back to the UK, where I was born. Being part of the Saint Piran USKIS team will hopefully show me what I can achieve in the right environment with a supportive team.
