BIO

I got into cycling when a school friend took me along to a local cycling club run out of some shipping containers next to the New River athletics track on White Heart Lane in Tottenham. I borrowed an old Peurgeot steel frame with down tube shifters for a few years before I saved up enough money from my paper round to buy my first road bike. I got started of racing as a youth and got the opportunity to go out to Belgium with John Barclay as an U16 and Junior. I raced domestically whilst at university, and spent my summer breaks in Belgium. After graduating I spent the following season racing full time for a French DN3 team. After moving to Sheffield in 2020, I raced for elite team Cycling Sheffield after the Covid-19 pandemic.

NOTABLE CARRER MOMENTS

I was never the most talented young rider, but I have seen consistent progress every year. In my 11th year racing in 2023 I finished 3rd at Rutland–Melton CiCLE Classic, 4th at Lincoln GP and won several National B races. I genuinely believe there is more to come for me in cycling, and I am delighted Saint Piran feel the same way.

IMPACT OF SAINT PIRAN

Saint Piran have made massive steps in the past few years, and they have definitely caught my eye this year with their impressive race programme. I am keen to get stuck into a proper UCI calendar, which I hope will give me both the experience and results to keep on progressing in the sport.
