BIO
I was fortunate to grow up next door to the Preston Park Velodrome in Brighton where I joined my local club, Preston Park Youth Cycling Club, aged 10. Until the age of 13 I only rode in the local track league but then expanded to regional and national road races and the London Youth Track League. I realised I had an aptitude for competitive cycling and this really fuelled my passion for the sport whilst releasing my determination to succeed. My performances as a youth rider led to me joining the Great Britain Cycling Team and I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences this presented. In the past year I have been based between Manchester with GBCT and Sittard in the Netherlands with Team DSM, whom I joined at the start of the 2023 season. I am now concentrating 100% on road racing and looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead.
NOTABLE CAREER MOMENTS –
Winning the 2022 Junior CICLE Classic riding for Backstedt Bike Performance
2 x bronze medals at the 2021 and 2022 European Track Championship
Top 15 finish in my first pro stage race on stage 2 at the 2023 Tour du Rwanda
Winning my first pro track race at the Geneva 6 day event in 2023
CYCLING ASPIRATIONS –
I am continuing to develop and learn as a rider but I aspire to be the very best that I can be. I am certainly targeting being strongly competitive in all races, whilst supporting other members of the team.
Away from cycling
I have a newly found passion for playing golf, although quite badly at the moment! Also, I come from a musical family and still enjoy playing the drums and piano when I get the chance.
IMPACT OF SAINT PIRAN -
Saint Piran are rightly held up as the premier British based pro race team and I jumped at the chance to sign for 2024. The race calendar is unrivalled and I cannot wait get started.
