Role: Skills coach and race support

- Safety! First and foremost it's the safety of the team and the bikes - to keep the bikes rolling, and with the best bike set-up for the track and conditions that they are riding on that weekend.

- Have fun! Yes, there are times to get your game face on. However, if we aren't having fun then we aren't enjoying it - it's a key ethos of ours!

- Strategic advisor on track, looking at line choice(s), where and when are the best places for the individual rider to make the most gains out of their lap times etc. What works for one rider may not work for the other...

When the race starts, you'll see me at the start, and then in the pit lane helping to keep the ladies hydrated and fuelled, but also giving them support on how they are doing lap by lap.

After the race? I check how they are feeling, debrief and ensure the bikes are cleaned.

My aspirations within the team:

-To ensure they enjoy what they do! And to not focus everything on results; they'll come when the time is right for that person and for the team. We are a team, we are social, we are one and all! So we look after each other.

- Race regionals, nationals, and hopefully to get the women on some international races, whilst growing the team and inspiring as many other ladies as possible to ride and race.

Which is why we put on FREE training sessions at the regional races we attend. Our team is about getting more ladies into the sport, and, if they want to, to try a RACE!
