I started mountain biking when I was fairly young with my dad, we’d always rent mountain bikes abroad and watch the Fort William downhill world cup. But I started properly cycling following injuries that stopped me running competitively and I quickly fell back in love with riding off road.

Watching women compete at XC and downhill world cups has inspired me to race and improve my skills. I’m continually inspired by my competitors and hope to keep improving as I move up to Elite!

I started racing some hill climbs in autumn 2021 and local XC MTB and CX races in 2022. My most notable cycling moment is winning the sport/expert category in the British Cycling XC series, becoming Welsh XC MTB champion and finishing 6th at 3 peaks cyclocross this year. Saint Piran are a supportive and friendly team and I’m excited to join them, to continue to grow as an athlete and try new disciplines in mountain biking. Saint Piran encourages women to try cycling and I’m excited to be involved.

Outside of cycling, I work as a sustainability officer in Cumbria and love everything outdoors :)
